AM - Group pickup at Milan Malpensa Airport and transport to your Lecco hotel. Take time to settle in.  Afternoon bike fitting and explore the Lecco lakefront.

7:30pm Welcome dinner on the waterfront get to know the group.

9am Bike Departure from your hotel. Ride through Italian mountain towns, past small lakes and up historic hills to reach the Ghisallo Pass where a cycling museum and chapel to honor cyclists marks the historic biking road.

Estimated arrival in Bellagio noon with option for a picturesque lunch. 13 mile lakeside ride to return to the hotel. Return on your own time or with the guide by 3pm. 

7:30pm You're in Italy. It's time for great pizza!

9am Van Departure to Piani di Bobbio. Take on the trails at our most local skiway, just 30 minutes up the road. It’s the Dartmouth Skiway equivalent, Pre-Alps style. 

Aperitivo at the ski hill and an authentic local dinner on the return ride to Lecco.

9am Bike down to the local rowing club for a morning row

Enjoy a day off in Lecco, or take the train into Milan to visit the Duomo and Castle Sforzesco

8am Departure for Chiesa Valmalenco. Head up to the high Alps near the Swiss border for bigger mountain skiing. 

7:00pm Partake in the local delights of the high mountain tradition on the way back.

9am Take to the waters of the Lake once again for a picturesque row in singles and doubles. 

Optional afternoon bike ride on remote roads for 1000meter elevation gain.

7:30pm A modern take on Italian food with all local ingredients, featuring chefs and owners who are passionate about Boston and the Charles River.

9am Bike to the abandoned luxury city, Consonno, which was built in the 60s as a summer escape for the people of Milan. With views of Lake Como, this was a spot for the elite, a "Land of Toys". When a landslide struck in 1976 the only road to Consonno was destroyed, cutting it off from the world. Tourism vanished overnight. We will bike the challenging climb to this ghost town covered in graffiti and return on quiet agricultural hills. 

Estimated Return to Lecco 1pm.
