Group pickup at Milan Malpensa Airport and transport to your Bellagio hotel. Take time to settle in and make your way to the bike shop to be fit on your bicycle. Shake off the legs on an unguided spin, your choice of:
  • Onno & Ghisallino (21miles and 2300ft/35km and 750m) 
  • Gelato Ride (10miles and 350ft/16km and 100m)

7:30pm Welcome dinner with a view to get to know your guide.
Breakfast at your hotel

9am Bike Departure from the shop.  First, climb the legendary Ghisallo, which doesn’t need any more presentation beyond its name. Enjoy a walk through the historic cycling museum and visit the chapel consecrated for cyclists. Then, its your option to take on the challenging Muro di Sormano …"the WALL"! It’s a 1.7km climb with an average 18% gradient, and a max gradient of 25%. It’s the toughest bike path in the world! Option to bike around on the car road. (32miles and 4300ft/50km and 1250m)

Estimated return to Bellagio at 2pm. 

7:30pm Partake in a meal at a family-run lakefront restaurant which serves traditional dishes centered on fresh fish caught daily from Lake Como. Enjoy a warm, unpretentious atmosphere and authentic cuisine that honours local fishing traditions.

9am Bike Departure. Ride from the Menaggio side of our Lake. Italy, Switzerland, Lake Como, Lake Lugano, flat roads, mountains, villas, nature, and infinite views--this ride’s got it all! (51miles and 3700ft/ 90km) and 1200m)
Estimated return to Bellagio at 4:30pm. 

7:30pm Dine under a pergola beside a little Bellagio port just a stone’s throw from Villa Melzi. The staff brings seasonal Mediterranean creations: think handmade pasta, lake fish or fine cuts of meat paired with crisp local vegetables, and artfully plated desserts that perfectly conclude the meal.
Breakfast at your Hotel

Transport from Lake Como to the high Alps. Spend the afternoon discovering Bormio and take in the vibes of mountain life. Spin on your own up to Lago Cancanno or Bormio 2000. 

7:30pm Dinner at our hotel. Take some time to talk through strategy for the Stelvio. The High Passes are a whole different game. 
Breakfast at your hotel

9am Bike Departure. Ride the famous switchbacks of the Stelvio, the highest pass in all of Italy and the second highest in Europe. Take in the tranquil views all the way up, then celebrate your arrival at the top. The weather changes as we climb, so the van will be waiting with layers at the top

Estimated return to Bormio at 1:00pm. 

3:00pm Enjoy a well-deserved afternoon of relaxation at the Bagni Vecchi spa. 

7:30pm A special dinner of local fare, featuring rich foods that keep meat on your bones for the cold Alpine winters.

9am Bike departure. Say goodbye to Bormio as we hit the start of the Valtellina Bike trail in a warm up that starts as a descent. Get excited as we turn off to take on the Mortirolo Climb, a bucket-list peak featured regularly on the Giro D'Italia, that has been called one of the hardest in the world (60miles and 5900feet/97km and 1800m)

Arrive at our hotel in the grape fields of Valtellina and enjoy a tasting of local wines.

7:30pm Dinner with local wines to celebrate the completion of our high climbs.
Breakfast at your Hotel

9am Bike Departure. Descend through the wine roads of Valtellina and explore the antique roads of Sondrio before returning to the Valtellina bike path. The valley provides the grandest entrance back to the Lake Como region. (53 miles & 1500feet/86km & 455meters)

Estimated return to Bellagio at 4:30pm. 

7:30pm  Celebrate all your hard work with aperitivo on a boat with your own private captain.
