We will follow the Tour from the Turin Stage 3 through the Alps to Briançon. Sign up for Stage 3, 4 and 5 of the 2024 Tour with Luca. We'll get our climbing legs warmed-up along the hills of the Piedmont region, before departing for the French Alps ... where 3 epic and iconic climbs of the Tour await! The Galibier, Alpe d’ Huez and Izoard embody the history and drama of the Tour’s mountain stages. Day 1, Saturday, June 29th:
Arrive at Torino or Milan Malpensa (MXP) airport, 13:00/14:00 pickups Transfer to Pralormo (1 or 2 hours, respectively) Hotel check-in and bike setup Welcome Dinner and sleep in Piemonte Day 2, Sunday, June 30th:
Breakfast Tappa 1: Piemonte Ride, ~80km and 800m Lunch at the Hotel Optional afternoon activity; Truffle History and Hunting, Cooking Class Dinner at a local, family Winery Sleep in Piemonte Day 3, Monday, July 1st:
Breakfast Tappa 2: Piemonte & Turin Ride, ~75km and 1000m Lunch at the Hotel Watch the end of the Tour Stage 3, arriving in Turin Transport by van to Lodging in Briançon
Day 5, Wednesday, July 3rd:
Breakfast REST DAY! Optional activity: Watch the start of le Tour Stage 5 (van transfer) Other rest day idea: Visit and explore the scenic Briançon fort and city center. Hike the famous skiway mountains or enjoy a low key ride to the secluded Pre de Madame Carle rock climbers heaven valley. Dinner on your own
Day 8, Saturday, July 6th:
